Required to facilitate a high standard of Workplace Health and Safety by providing advise and support to management and employees enabling compliance with all legislative requirements and Company Safety Management System.
Project based Operational System Implementation, Maintenance and Measurement for the project.
Implement process improvement initiatives, change management of the documented Safety and Environment System and integrate our OHS & E system in line with the clients plan should it be required.
Implement safety and environment hazard risk assessments and minimisation.
Determine source and recommend adequate provision to improve OH & S for the project site.
Will be required to report on a day to day basis to employees and management.
Record, prepare and carryout monthly reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Minimum Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline (4 years & above college education).
§ Minimum of 8 years experience in Health & Safety works.
§ Familiar with ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
§ Skilled in Performing site safety investigation
Other Specific Requirements
§ Possess a valid UAE or any GCC Driver’s License.
§ Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal skills and listening skills; commercial drive & awareness; independent working and decision making skills; highly organised with a particular attention to detail; Self motivated with strong presentation skills.
§ Preferably with a NEBOSH international General Certificate.
